About ÊTRUNE

What is ÊTRUNE?

ÊTRUNE is a fine jewellery maison built around engagement rings and the life of the ring after the proposal — design, certification, lifetime care, and a marketplace for pieces that move on.

We exist to redesign the cycle that traditional jewellery left half-finished: opaque pricing, limited choice, abandoned post-purchase service, and a narrow view of who proposes and who receives.

How is ÊTRUNE different from traditional jewellery?

Three things. Each piece carries a documented record from the moment it is made. Each price is transparent — broken down so you see what you pay for. And the relationship continues after delivery, through the +Care program and the Upcycling marketplace.

Where are you located?

Headquarters in New York. The first boutique opens in Bogotá in 2026. Manhattan follows in 2027, with additional cities to be announced in the years after.

Until then, the maison operates internationally through the website, by appointment, and through secured shipping to every country we serve.

What languages do you operate in?

English and Spanish, across every channel. Additional languages on request for boutique appointments.

The ring process

How is a ÊTRUNE ring made?

A ring moves through six stages: references and brief, sketching, stylisation, 3D modelling, lost-wax casting, and finishing with hand-set gemstones. Every stage is documented and the customer approves before each major step.

See the full process on our craftsmanship page.

How long does a custom piece take?

Typically several weeks between final approval and delivery. There is no express service — the weeks are part of the warranty.

What is the typical budget?

Pieces range from accessible commissions to high-end fine jewellery. The Builder shows a transparent range based on your choices of gemstone, metal, setting and finish.

There is no hidden tier. The price you see is the price that will be quoted.

Can I change materials and stones after starting?

Yes — until the approved 3D model is signed off. After that point, structural changes restart the timeline.

Can I preview the piece before it is made?

Yes. Augmented-reality preview is available so you can see the approved design on the hand, at scale, before production begins.

ÊTRUNE ID

What is ÊTRUNE ID?

The living digital record of each piece. It carries the gemstone certifications, the design that was approved, every +Care intervention, and the chain of ownership across time.

How do I access my ÊTRUNE ID?

Through id.etrune.com using the ID assigned to your piece at delivery.

Does it transfer to a new owner?

Yes, when the piece moves on through the Upcycling marketplace. The new owner inherits the full record. Personal information from previous owners is anonymised by default; transparency is opt-in.

What information does the record contain?

Gemstone origin and certificates, design and material specifications, every +Care service intervention, ownership history, and condition reports from each annual review.

+Care

What does +Care cover?

Annual inspection, deep cleaning, polishing, prong and setting verification, gemstone security check, and resizing when the hand changes shape. The extended guarantee against material or workmanship issues is included as long as the program stays active.

How much does it cost?

+Care is offered as a single annual payment, which includes the full scope of the program — no tiers, no upsells, no surprise fees when service is performed.

Where do I bring the piece?

You can hand-deliver it at any open boutique, or schedule an insured, tracked dispatch from your address. Coverage is global.

Is the guarantee international?

Yes. As long as +Care is active, the extended guarantee follows the piece wherever it travels.

Upcycling

How do I sell my ÊTRUNE piece back?

Write to [email protected] with your ÊTRUNE ID. We arrange a secured dispatch, verify the piece against its record, and present a transparent buy-back offer.

What percentage of the original price do I receive?

The offer is generous and transparent, based on the condition of the piece and current market value of its materials. The full calculation is shown alongside the offer.

How is authenticity verified before re-listing?

Every returned piece is matched against its ÊTRUNE ID record — gemstone, design, all prior interventions — by an in-house gemologist before being approved for the marketplace.

Shipping & delivery

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, through DHL, FedEx and UPS depending on destination. Every shipment is insured for full declared value and fully tracked door to door.

How does the piece arrive?

In the ÊTRUNE Box — a discreet, protective case designed for the piece. The outer packaging gives no indication of its contents.

Is the shipment insured?

Yes, fully — for declared value, by the carrier and additionally by the maison.

Private Story

How does Private Story work?

You receive a private page with a single, non-public URL. You share that URL with your closest circle. They can contribute economically toward the ring goal, or simply leave a private message. The page closes when the goal is met.

What do contributors receive in return?

When the marriage takes place, each contributor receives something from the celebration — an invitation, an image, a small keepsake. The form is open and decided by the couple.

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal. Bank wire is available for high-value pieces. Financing partnerships are under expansion.

Do you offer financing?

Yes, through alliances with financial entities for personal loans, and through Private Story for collaborative funding among loved ones.
